January Baronial Meeting Minutes
Here are the January Minutes:
1/2/12
Attendance: Brigitha, Barbeta, Eli, Pagan, Korric, Sarah,
Faoiltighearna,
Torvald, Henna, Donna, Brangwynne, Lyle, Elwynne
Officers Report:
Seneschal –election committee – Pagan, Eli (will entail
following election
process, sending for labels) need to make up ballot and send
it off so
they can set up polling process
- need to search for a new venue for meetings. Current place
wants
everyone to eat in order to have the room for free.
Herald – 2 submisions (by Brangwynne)
Pagan's badge sent to kingdom
B&B – no new additions since Yule
discussion on Barony list about polling
Kingdom seneschal has been asking for standardization. the 2
most popular
options are:
1. vote for person/couple you like best
2. vote for person/couple in order of who you like best to
least
Exchecker – Kingdom expenses for Crown not yet been sent
Chronicler – next Berserker will be for Baronial Birthday.
Need
reminiscences of early baronial happenings. Photos will be
gratefully
accepted (I have a scanner if you don't)
Gold Key – still need hanging racks. Brangwynne has a
catalog that may help
Webminsister – last Berserker is on the website
- officers updates needed
- meeting minutes will also go up after being posted on this
list
MOAS – dye day (small crowd) had a lot of fun (indigo and
onion greens)
concentus continues to practice
needleworkers haven't met
special fiber day at Sarah Davies this coming Satuday
spinners guild in Quintavia happening on Sunday
Knight Marshall – no report (has only been in office 2 days)
Old business:
Pioneer valley camp will only rent to their own members for
now.
Domesday Project by Sarah Strong – who has what awards?, to
keep the list
up to date, certain people would be able to edit it

Events:
Birthday – 2/25 Pagan event steward
- Melha - $500 has been given to hold the site, may use
kitchen (300
additional, then the deposit will be returned after the
event)
- Eleanore to call Deitrich regarding plan for feast
- needs to get people to run the event (to allow
Bergentallers to enjoy
event)
- need ideas for games and entertainments
- needs people on committees to work on different aspects of
the event
Novice Schola 3/30 – site confirmed
- Brigit – dayboard
- Barbeta – scheduler
- event steward – co-stewards – Cedric, with Pagan &
Marian
- co event steward for coordinating volunteers, etc. no
feast
- record keeping - keep donations separate
Somer Draw – Need event steward
- Dufresne park in Granby, $800 for the glen area,
larger event with bid for king & queen's rattan,
expand artisan's row, more classes esp outdoor
ample parking, room for other activities in addition to
archery championship
Cedric will contact K&Q rattan
-Quintavia only wants to do dayboard
Crestfallen – steward - Jovonne
(plus Icod Ducal challenge) PAC has 3 open dates for
September 9/15 ($470)
possible Baronial investiture
New business - next month meeting will be at a different
site so that no
one feels obligated to purchase a meal.
Quintavia has requested to borrow (rent?) the new lists/with
cases for K&Q

they will need to come and pick them up (may negotiate for
drop off by
personal arrangement)
need to come up with a reasonable fee (suggestions?)
