Lyle and Elwynne have both served Bergental in many ways, since it was a Shire, as officers, autocrats, cooks, scribes, singers, fighters, archers, fencers, and general go-getters, and are members of all three baronial orders. Elwynne has served as Chatelaine, is the founder of the scribal guild (the Bergental Illuminati), and the founder of Concentus, an a capella choir. She is also a Laurel, and one of the Wardens for the East Kingdom Stationers Company. Lyle has served as Herald, Knight Marshal, and Seneschal, is the current director of Concentus, and is the founder of the Bergental Stationers Company. He is also a Pelican and a Laurel, and is the Master of the East Kingdom Stationers Company.

It is their hope as 5^th baron and baroness of Bergental to do their best to be inspiring to the barony in all of its activities with love, wit, and of course, fun!

They have a great love for the Barony and the East and support the many activities that the baronial members enjoy. They strive to continue Bergental’s baronial legacy of making everyone, whether barony member or visitor, feel most welcome to be here; with the help of the folk of Bergental, this has been and will no doubt continue to be a living legacy.

Lyle and Elwynne believe that Bergental is one of the best places to be in the East. For in all their travels in the kingdom, all the wonderful events they’ve been to, and all the equally wonderful people they’ve met, it’s always nice at the end of the day to know that when they return to Bergental, they’re returning not just to a house, but to a home.
